This week we are doing some European Favorites from TRIAGE WINE DISTRIBUTORS stop by and meet NOAH and take advantage of his wonderful wealth of wine information. First up: PIEVALTA VERDICCHIO DEI CASTELLI DI JESI - $14.99 - Named for a nearby hilltop church, is a fresh, clean and filled with flavors of peaches and flowers.

CHATEAU BELLEVUE LA FORET NEGRETTE - $11.99 - It is a blend with Negrette being the dominate grape thus shows the beauty of Negrette grown in the Frontonnais terrior.

VALLE DELL'ACATE IL FRAPPATO - $19.99 - As is typical of this grape, the wine is light to medium-bodied and delivers a lovely base of soil tones from the calcaire, sandstone and clay strata of soils that lie beneath the estate's vineyards.

CROS MARCILLAC LO SANG DEI PAIS - $13.99 - Made from the local grape FER SERVADOU the grape bunches are hand harvested and after being de-stemmed they are fed into fermentation tanks using gravity flow. The "cuvaison" lasts 21 days with the juice being pumped over the cap during the first 6 days. The wine is aged for 6 months in large oak and chestnut barrels which range up to 200 years old.

And since we are coming into the Holiday Season we have TISSOT CREMANT DU JURA - $23.99 - a French sparkler for you to try.

We have a box under the Christmas tree for donations of Teddy Bears.

Any size of Teddy Bear will be appreciated. All bears are guaranteed to be Loved & Cuddled in a childs arms this Christmas.

The bears will be distributed through Pregnancy Aid and Child Haven.

Donations will be picked up on December 18 so we only have a week to collect Teddy Bears.

You can also help out the Des Moines Food Banks "Dollars for Dinners" by dropping your change in the jar by the cash register. For each dollar contributed we will add 10 cents and an anonymous donor will add 10 cents. That adds up to $1.20 and is enough for 6 meals for a hungry person.
