We will be featuring BURIED CANE and CADERETTA wines this week. From BURIED CANE we will have the PINOT GRIGIO - $11.99 - Zesty and vibrant, with floral and tropical aromas, followed by peach and lemon fruit flavors. A note of pear and spice adds complexity. Enjoy chilled with mild cheeses.

Also, CABERNET - $13.99 - A long growing season imparts black currant, cherry and berry fruit flavors to this Cabernet. The rich mouth-feel is complemented with herbal subtleties, a tannic backbone and a lingering finish.

And the BURIED CANE SYRAH - $13.99. No notes on the winery web site but when we tried it we felt it was worthy of one of our tastings.

And also from the same makers their CADERETTA label. The SBS (Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon) - $20.99 - Citrus-like aromas of tangerine and lime, with layers of pineapple, pear and star fruit with a hint of white pepper.

Then to finish off the CADARETTA CABERNET - $40.99 - (a treat) - The flavors are pure Washington State: elegant and balanced, with plum and cassis aromas and a rich, lingering mouth-feel.

LA CARRAIA ORVIETO CLASSICO - $9.99. This is from the Umbria region of ITALY. The grapes used to produce Orvieto are Procanico (the local version of Trebbiano), Verdello, Grechetto and other white grapes grown in the area that surrounds this hill town.

From the instep of ITALY (Basilicata) we will have TERRA DI VULCANO AGLIANICO DEL VULTURE by Bisceglia - $15.99. This is a 100% Aglianico which is refined in steel vats for 12 months, bottled and then aged in their cellar for four months.
