We continue to celebrate Washington Wine Month with EDMONDS WINERY this week. Located in the warehouse district in Woodinville. The lineup will be: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ SAUVIGNON BLANC - $20.99 - Delicate and refreshing, this is probably one of the best values for the money out of most of the Sauvignon Blancs produced in Washington State.

ROBERT D - $20.99 (reg $24.99) - 60% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec - Generous aromas of ripe stone fruit, blackberry, blueberry and nutmeg greet the nose. Flavors of vanilla, light oak, tobacco and flint come thru on the pallet and heightens the long and smooth finish.

DELORIOUS - $20.99 (reg $22.99) - 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Petit Verdot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec - Great nose of black cherry, blackberry, black current and plum, added notes of pencil shaving and molasses. Flavors of leather, vanilla, bacon fat, coconut and cedar lead up to an elegant long and smooth finish.

BENTLEY - $20.99 (reg $22.99) - 82% Merlot, 18% Malbec - This wine has wonderful aromas of cedar, black currant, blackberry, spicy cinnamon and mint. It shows flavors of black cherry, tar, plum and pomegranate across the palate and lead to a gentle lasting finish. Bentley is the winery dog and a donation to the Food LifeLine is made from the sale of each bottle.

And we will also have open SHADY GROVE'S "BIG NOSE RED" $10.99 (reg $13.99) - This is one of those great little everyday wines that we have been waiting to come back in stock. Chalked full of black fruit, toasted pine nuts and clove. Big Nose is a wine of depth and concentration. BOUTARI MOSCHOFILERO - $15.99 - In an effort to literally save the Moschofilero variety from extinction and in recognition of the enormous potential of this strongly aromatic variety, Boutari created one of the most famous brand names on the market in history. The Moschofilero Boutari is now synonymous to the Moschofilero variety and has gained international recognition, as one of the most versatile wines that amazes the international cuisines. Yellow-white colour with tints of green-yellow, a strong varietal aroma of flowers and citrus fruit on the nose and palate, with white rose and orange blossom prevailing. A fresh wine, full and balanced, with a long aftertaste.

BOUTARI KRETIKOS RED - $14.99 - was “born and bred” on the island of Crete, an island with a long tradition of viniculture. Its label depicts a fresco from Knossos, the palace of mythological King Minoa, king of Greece’s ancient Minoan civilization, and the home of the Minotaur. Color: Brilliant purple . Aroma: Pleasant aromas of violets and pomegranate. Taste: A light bodied, fruit forward red with notes of red cherry. An ideal accompaniment to pastas, roasted meat dishes and spicy cheeses.
