With the holiday weekend we are letting wineries and reps off the hook and will feature some of Ric's Picks this weekend.

One new one is KELSO. They were shown to us this week and we thought that they would make great weekend wines at $7.99. There is a Red Table and a White Table.

The White Table is a blend of 68% Chardonnay, 21% Riesling and 11% Sauvignon Blanc. The winery tasting notes: Fresh and fruitful with flavors of citrus, banana, passion fruit and peach. A wine you can take home tonight and enjoy with friends.

The Red Table Wine is a blend of 56% Merlot, 41% Cabernet, and 3% Cab Franc. Rich aromas of cedar and black cherries with hints of spice. The palate is smooth and elegantly structured with layers of black currant, licorice, and ripe plum framed in fine balance.

Both of these wines are being closed out by the winery. If you are interested in ordering for your summer BBQ's and get togethers this will be the time to take advantage of this great price. (it was originally $14.00)

Of course we will have a couple of bottles open to share tonight.

With this wind and rain maybe we need to bring out the big heavy weights like during winter!

Check your calendar and get your tickets for this summers production of 'Withering Heights' a parody of Victorian proportions with bankers.

Opening night is July 16 with shows on July 17, 21, 23 - 25, 28 and Aug 1. Doors open at 6:30 pm/ show starts at 7 pm and doors open at 1:30pm/ show at 2 pm on Sundays.

Tickets are $20 and include hors d'oeuvres and tasting of EB Foote wines.
