We have two Portugese wines this week to explore. MONTE VELHO WHITE - $11.99 - The varietals for this are Roupeiro, Antao Vaz and Perrum. These are the Alentejo regions grapes. Floral aromatic and spricy fruit aromas. Can be served with grilled fish and seafood to the richness of cheeses or the simplicity of vegetarian cuisine. MONTE VELHO RED - $11.99 - The varietals for this are Aragones, Trincadeira and Castelao. Again, from the Alentejo region. Ripe berry fruits with some underlying oak complexities on the nose. Good depth of ripe fruits with a soft tannic structure. Can pair up with pastas, boiled chick peas and the opulence and elegance of game dishes. Please join us as we explore more than just Cabernet, Chardonnay or Merlot.

We attended the dress rehearsal last Wednesday and would like to encourage everyone to take time out of their busy life and enjoy an evening in Burien seeing this play. The actors are great and the story is alot of fun. While we were chuckling I'm sure we missed some other great lines! For $20 you get wine tasting, snacks, free parking and an original play that is worth the ticket price without all the other goodies!!!!!
